What's this thing weigh??

My FIL fought this hog for about 30 minutes yesterday close to San Antonio bay while fishing for redfish. One of the biggest I've seen in a while! Think it breaks 40lbs?

Seriously doubt it but if it does it's not by much. I've caught dozens of them and they always look and feel like they weigh more than they actually do. Should have brought a scale.
