This flight wasn’t near as bad, but still looks pretty scary. Look how high up he got.

I thought it was called hang gliding anyway.

Exactly. He made it to the professional level. That takes stamina to hold on for that long.

Insane..... talk about adrenaline and some serious grip strength that he probably didn’t know that he had

One time in life that begin able to do a pull up would have actually helped out...

As soon as I found out I was not clipped in I would have climbed on top of that instructor a like a spider monkey on crack! I just aged 10 years just watching that.

I think I would have made sure I was clipped in before taking off

Wife and I watched this last night. We recognized the location because we hang glided in the exact same place back in 2010. Wild!!

Jeez... my heart is pumping just watching that.

Reminded me of Jeb Corliss' accident. Ever wondered what happens when a wing suit dude makes contact with the mountain?

The result is a shattered bottom half. Everything!

That was crazy. Had to do a follow up search on that:

Jeb Corliss hit Table Mountain, South Africa, while proximity wingsuit flying at 120 mph on January 16th, 2012. JEB’s INJURIES: - Both ankles broken -

Pretty crazy. I thought I remembered him shattering his pelvis though. I've been following him for a while as he was the first "wing suiter" that I was made aware of. He may have hurt the pelvis in another accident, or not at all. Psycho!

Just scratched hang gliding off my bucket list.
