Yeah, this post makes no sense either. Batting 1000 so far.

I don’t need someone who sat through a weekend class and is now a “instructor” giving me legal advice.

On this site if someone gives legal advice they get attacked even if they have some real experience with that part of the law. But that one weekend makes the LTC Instructor qualified.

Needing the LTC “instructors” blessing to carry a gun is stupid.

Even if they did give some training how much better is someone after 4 hours in a large group class, half of which is classroom than before they had training.

      Constitutional all the way

thank you I was being lazy and jut did not want to write all of that .

I would add those that think it about a idiot needing training . IF that is factual then places like AZ must be idiot free ?? HA HA its not trust me on that .

Same was said when open carry passed.

        Hasn’t happened.

Yea! What are the chances we could get the organized extortion that’s taking place locally, statewide, and nationally. I’d trade constitutional carry for that!

As we slide towards the likes of Great Britain and other "free" nations, each generation is more and more fine with giving up a chunk of their freedom to those that don't have our best interests at heart.

Off the soapbox. Back to working for the man.

As determined by who? You? The gov’t?

              More nanny statism here.

Either you believe in the 2A or you don’t. It’s not the government’s responsibility to give us permission or train us how to handle a weapon; unless you are military or LE.

                Absolutely Constitutional Carry Supporter Here.

Isn’t it funny how the 2A is pretty much the only one that’s ok to be the red headed step child and trampled on regularly?

A big reason for that is a part of them buys into the stigma pop culture places on firearms and firearm ownership.

That's because it's the only one that allows people who shouldn't own a gun to own one and kill innocent people.
There is no way to reconcile the rift between the two sides.
The battle will be lost not because the good people who have and carry guns do things that are wrong but because we can do nothing to stop the ones who are not good and do wrong from exercising the same rights we want to keep.

Doesn’t matter. All amendments in the bill of rights carry equal weight. Until someone is proven unfit through due process to exercise these rights then they should not be infringed.

I don't think the constitution is going away.

FYI, Illinois doesn't have CC. Think Chicago. Point is, people who shouldn't have guns will always have guns. That certainly isn't a good reason to infringe on my rights.
