sigh...rough Christmas. Woke up 3am with some 24 hour bug & finally feeling better.


not sure what it is this season...drought, weather or what, but cannot seem to get into the deer hunting groove.

Took my thirteen Y/O daughter out to shoot her very first deer this past week and we now have sausage in the freezer she did a great job and shot her first deer. I am a very proud papa don't ya know. Oh yeah and I finally got my first deer of the season with my bow.

Great holidays, plenty of inside games played due to rainy weather. Loving the card Steven, it's a classic. Sorry your feeling bad Artos, been having problems with dreid up sinuses and headaches here. I am with you on the hunting, thought I was getting too old or something. Glad to know it is not an isolated incident, there is a hope for a cure.

Was a great Christmas here in West 7th, Fort Worth.

Mom came in Friday afternoon. We went to the Tom Thumb's and loaded up on groceries. Started cooking early Saturday through Sunday at about 2, when we took only about 15 minutes to eat Christmas dinner that took all that time to prepare...LOL

Family movie at Movie Tavern - Mission Impossible (thumbs up), then football last night.

J-Bone left early this morning, mom and brother left a little bit ago. Still have T-Bone here for a while today...so much to be happy and grateful for!

Had one of those family moments yesterday. My great nephew (3) has been a little on the bad side lately and his Mom and Dad kept telling him Santa might not come because he was bad. He's been a little nervous about it and kept saying "please give me just one more chance." Christmas morning he gets up and walks into his living room to find his presents and hollers "Holy Cow, he relly did come." Wish his folks would have had the video running, it was a classic moment.

Well this holiday season has been good to me thus far. Started with getting a promotion into management at work right after Thanksgiving, then the company gave me a hefty amount of stock, and the one that really matters was spending it with the family.

Oh and I'm taking pops hunting this weekend.
