Our baby girl, Claira, is having surgery later today to correct a urinary reflux problem that was discovered when she was about 9 months old. She is 3 1/2 now and has been on a daily prophylactic antibiotic since it was discovered. The doctor performing the surgery is the chief of urology at Scott and White in Temple and we will be at their new children's hospital. I'm not anymore worried about her than normal but I also wouldn't mind prayers of steady and skillful hands for the team performing the surgery and a speedy recovery for her.

We had to get her up at about 5:15 to make sure she was done eating by 5:45. We negotiated cooperation by letting her eat a honey bun and powdered donuts and watching a Tinker Bell movie. Now the long and impatient wait starts.

I love the TBH brother and sister hood. I am wearing my green screen tshirt and cap (that I bought at Bownanza) today and was met with a "Hey, I'm on the green screen too" when we got to the admissions desk. Mrs. Ecoboost was our admissions specialist and took very good care of us. :thumbup:

Artos, I concur on the temp, it was 91 here yesterday and I did not cool off at all last night with the a/c running at 73. Felt good to walk out to 58 this morning though.

Finally mowed some grass yesterday after work, definitely have to talk to my next door neighbor about his borrowing my mower and leaving me in a bind when I need it. Battery was down yesterday cause he didn't plug the maintainence charger in and then I find the gas can empty. Thank goodness I had enough to get my mowing done but he will be in for a surprise next time he uses it, tank is as empty as the can is now.

Carrying it back to the top, yesterday wasn't too great for Grammy (my wife) while she was watching our grandson. He got his feet stuck in her glider chair and they took him for xrays due to swelling and him crying. Prayers were answered and xrays were negative. He was running around the house last night like nothing ever happened. God is good!
