Cruising through Lake Charles and Lafayette this afternoon checking on a couple university jobs. Spending the night in Youngsville with my buddy Chad "shoot that bird" Burks.

To bad I had a show all day today in Mobile, AL and could not be on the beach. I have a 6am flight to Denver, CO tomorrow. I am ready for the cooler temps even if I am working a few days.

Team Howard and a neighbor kiddo just returned from a GREAT week in Destin, FL. What a nice, relaxful and awesome vacation. AND, while I was away, received an offer, have countered, they have accepted and it looks like I will start the new job towards the beginning of August. Hate to brag but I am grinning ear to ear right now.

I know that's right. Our youth are headed to Dallas to "Collision", a Christian Youth Conference for the week. I am working thru Wednesday and heading for the Hill country on Thursday. It's time for a vacation.
