My wife delivered our first child, a daughter, one week ago today. This week has been the most exhausting, yet awesome week I've ever had.

About to throw some NY strips on the grill and relax.

Blair has been lucky in that regard, just a little heartburn and general uncomfort with the added weight.


I have taken to sleeping in the guest bedroom occaisionaly. With a 6 pound dog that sleeps like a mastiff, 2 full growed (and growing) humans, 1 little bitty one, and the offensive line sized pillow that she now requires........well a queen size bed just isn't as big as it used to be!

Just finished a crock pot full of pulled pork. Tippett's and hooper are coming over for dinner. Momma Tippett is bringing some chips and dips to go with the sandwiches.

And it was very good. The devil eggs and homemade hotsauce was awesome as well. Sorry Hoop couldn't make it but was glad to see MBoltM and family.
