Nicely done Justin!! I've cleaned out the garage and two vehicles. Off to Canadian Thanksgiving with the family shortly at my assistants house with her family. Tomorrow we hunt! Headed back to the Porcupine hills to hunt Crown land. Taking my boys tomorrow.

Didn't see anything but a yearling doe this evening but happy my stepson tagged out on does yesterday. Got his first deer on the a.m. and his second later the same evening. I think he's hooked!

Gonna be nice not sleeping with ear plugs in tonight...no kidding, I slept with plugs in all 3 nights at berger's. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet (kendall) gargles with marbles while he sleeps. If there was ever a snoring contest, he's my man!!

I checked the mileage & I put a hair over 600 miles on vehicle this weekend. I sure am a long way from nowhere down this way. Texas is an amazing state...i took the old route to encinal where my very first deer lease was and then jumped a little west off 35 on 44, then up north on 83 to see some new backroad country and then came in westward to batesville area. I love my place in starr and VERY nice to be 1hr from home when going to the lease but that red dirt country holds a special place for me. A great weekend for sure!!

Another beautiful day. Birds singing, deer picking up acorns under the live oaks, and dogs laying around soaking it all in. Gotta love it! God is great!
