One of your teammates is going to be Chane Lynch. He is a great kid and lives a couple of miles away from where I grew up in Crawford. Make sure you introduce yourself and tell him that you know me. I just shipped him a new glove last week.
Just found out the wife and I will be bringing life into this world for the first time! After years of trying, 10 years of marriage, and every medical procedure the Doc could throw at us; all we needed was a little relaxation and time to clear the head and guess what. We have finally been blessed… Ultimately, we couldn’t have accomplished the task without faith in the Lord...
Good buddy and neighbor is moving back to Tennessee tomorrow. We're preparing one hell of a final Texas feast for him, including nilgai backstrap! Yummie!

OUTSTANDING! What a blessing! congratulations to you and your bride.
I come to the fire for comfort. My brother took his own life yesterday. He left a wife and three beautiful daughters. I don't understand. I will be heading back up to Idaho tomorrow.
Gary - I just saw this. My deepest sympathies for you and the family.

This is great news, congrats you and your wife amigo!
Well, I know that I have not been on here in a while and catching up on a few things. I have had the pleasure of hunting with my family, especially my dad, since I was 4 months old. Now at the age of 23, I usually tell people I was born with "the Fever". Throughout life we go through stages to try and find where we fit in best, especially during college. I know that I always have a place in the archery and hunting world, because there are the most amazing people who are family, friends, and we have the ability to network.
I have always been that girl to hang around with the guys, not wanting to miss a thing. Countless hours building deer stands, blinds, setting out blinds, riding around the ranch watching all of the wildlife disappear into the brush, right before your eyes. In today's society we must make time for ourselves, and what more can we ask for when we have a variety of terrain and wildlife species to share with our friends and family. Slow down, listen to the birds chirp, squirrels russle through the leaves burrying acorns for the winter months, the doe so alert watching out for her off-spring, the buck wheezing during rut, chasing does in heat, the rattling of atlers knocking together. When the sun goes down the coyotes start to make music with their howling, the pigs or javelinas are right behind you crunching on corn, but you are unable to see them. The barking of axis deer in the distance, as a bobcat silently approaches you as you are his prey. And finally the deepest breathe that you can take and your heart is pounding right before you release the arrow of a magnificent buck (or in my case doe). Just remember all of these things when you are in the woods, mountains, or praires on your next hunting adventure...
P.S. please take your kids with you. These are special times in both your life and theirs. They will have more fun than you grant them. I love to volunteer my time to the youth of today and I have a blast.
