finally finished putting the last of my tin on the addition to my workshop.......took about 45 minutes.......I think I am done working for the day ........
Wife just called and said the thermometer on her car said 97. I accused her of parking it in the sun, but she says it was sitting in the shade. Get ready for summer.
Well, I am done for the weekend. Just finished massaging my ribs and am now off to start the pit. Hope to do some fishing tomorrow, but who knows, sounds like the weather is going to be pretty crappy.
I am ready for the weekend......got a cold one open and will be heading to the Midnight Rodeo to listen to some Aaron Watson and do a little dancing with the misses....
One of the joys of being a Grandparent is meeting your first Great-Grandson. This is Ryan Patrick Scott of Jourdanton. I briefed him on the ranches that need hunted and the rivers and lakes that need fished. He's thinking about it with his friend.
Got back from Cotulla this afternoon. It was a DIFFERENT trip to say the least. I'll post it in another thread later. Hunting was not good. You Guys didn't miss much there. Groceries were super and beer was cold. As bad as the trip was........It is still always fun.
FnLaw better moved back to rehab today! THanks to all for their thoughts and prayers. No infection nor heart issues as thought. "Speculation" is that he was over medicated. Pulled him off all blood pressure meds and "re calibrating" given he is on a ton of stuff following surgery. He looked good an ate well today.
Spent the evening with the boys, sitting at George Park watching Select Team baseball tournament. We had icees, and 5 packs of sunflower seeds (I couldnt have a hot dog being Friday of lent season)...good time was had enjoying good baseball!
Last basketball game tomorrow at 8:00 am (yikes), then some baseball and trip to Bass Pro in Katy. Then an evening with the wife and friends at a non profit event.
