New Braunfels and Gruene are hard to beat, great trip!
Had an ecko on my heart last week and met with my doc yesterday, seems all is okay except for one valve not performing perfectly. Doc told me to quit taking the hydrochlorthiazide, feels it may be the cause.
I'm good to go for another year.

Bittersweet day for us. Listed our first home for sale. We built it from the ground up starting right after we got married and its the place we brought our baby girl home to last year. On the other side we are moving back "home" closer to our families and my wife is moving to a new district working for a principal she worked for in the past and really liked. (Not to mention closer to the deer lease and the lake
).

Wrapping up a nice stay on Padre Island with the kids and a couple of their friends. Sure was nice to rest and recharge a bit. Didn't get to fish like I wanted due to weather, though.Comment

Went to the new Chili's at 59 & 99 last night for supper after an all-star game and in walks a couple arrow slinging TBH'ers. Mike and Bonnie McPherson sat in a both next to our table and I walked up on our way out and said "y'all look like a couple bowhunters." They smiled and shook my hand as we headed for the door.Comment
