This place always has the opportunity to shoot a 150-170 class buck. Of course I’m not passing up anything that I would shoot on the last day. I just got some news at work and looks like my hunting could be over for the season. So this is the weekend.

And the deer keep coming. That rain had them laid down this morning. And this rising pressure has them moving. I actually think the morning will be even better. Supposed to be 41 with a 30.10 rising pressure. Perfect conditions.

I have about a 130-135 class buck that is dogging a doe and chasing off would be troublemakers 100-120 class. This buck is huge just not gonna score well at all. But he is a bull of a deer. They’re on the other end of the field and if they come closer I’ll get a pic.

Time to get back at it. Temps in the low 40’s with NW 5 mph winds.

I’m going back to a set that I hunted last year and passed on s beautiful 10 that I thought was too young. It would be the perfect answer to good management if he shows today. Here’s pics of him last year.
