    Class C vs 5 wheel

Getting closer to a decision hopefully, the one thing I have not got is an estimate on gas mileage when pulling a 35'-39' 5th wheel (in my case a toy hauler) with a my 2014 F-350 single axle 6.7 diesel? I do not have any performance program in the truck at this time.

From what I have found out, a class C Ford V-10 30 footer pulling a small enclosed trailer, talking 10', gets around 8 to 9 MPG.

So if any of the green screen'ers has something comparable please chime in.

    Thank in advance.

I've got a 31' bumperpull and get 12-14MPG pulling it, its about 7k lbs, with an F-250.

I've gotten as low as 6 though pulling into a west texas wind.

It seems the toy hauler has grown in popularity over the last several years was hoping someone here was hauling one around.

Have a 29 ft 5th wheel and pull with a 3/4 ton 2500 chevy and get 10 mpg. We rented a class C this summer and went to Mt Rushmore and got 10 mpg.
                          1. 5th wheel un kook and you have a vehical to go on day trips.
                          2. class C you have to rent or pull your day trip ride. Then you have to buy gas for that car.
Thats your biggest decision I believe.
MPG is not good either way. Shouldnt be the deciding factor IMO.
