This website is a good start!

Also, you could decide on a county and local towns check with the chamber of commerce for any listings.

Write a check with 3-4 zeros after a 2-8! Easy

Good luck, I've been looking for 2 years and I'll still be seating at home this fall.

Even with a big budget it can be hard to find a good lease. You can look for years and not find one then all of a sudden have three fall in your lap.
We found both of ours in the TBH classifieds but this isn’t the best time of year to be looking. Most leases become available in early Spring and late Summer.

Set your search radius to 1.5 hours. 3k sounds reasonable.

Got mine on here a few years ago, got off it this year to spend more time in Kansas, It was bow only with a total of 5 guys on 750ac $1000 each.

Check the available leases thread on here. If you don't see what you like post a thread looking. Google deerleases available in Texas. There's more places to hunt than you realize. It gets harder looking for the right one. Also cash in hand helps

                            just kidding...

my dad and I found ours on lease hunter, there are always some that pop up on here too

If I was in San Antonio, I would certainly consider south of the border...
