Good luck
I walked away from the only job I had ever had as an adult to go to school for 2 years to start my new career
Walking away from the excellent benefits and knowing I would be taking a pay cut were the 2 biggest hurdles
A year into school I already had a position and was training for stepping into it as soon as I graduated
And I was a lot happier person
Currently I make more than I did before working half the hours I did
4 day weeks instead of working 80hrs over 7 days
No weekends and no night shift
And the big kicker, they shut the plant I was working in and moved it to Mexico which would have left me in a bind
I tell everyone I know that if they are not happy in their job, find something else

I love reading all these stories of how you made a move similar to mine! I know this is the right move. I didn’t make this decision in haste. It’s tough leaving a secure job with guaranteed pay buy the risk out weighs the reward in this instance.
I’m working my last Saturday that I’ll ever “have” to work. The rest of my Saturday’s I work will be my decision.
Thank you for all the encouragement

or maybe it's just my stupid friends that couldn't make a go of it.....

I worked for them for a long time and had to make a change back in 2016.
Hope you kick its butt!
