I just checked the radar. It's not spinning but there is a lot of bad rain etc. If it comes into the GOM anything can happen.......

Yep and that's what they said about Harvey last year too... Hope there's no "rebirth" of Issac in the GoM...

Evidently theres a lot of dry air and wind shear around there. Hopefully thats enough.

Me too brother. I've had 7 or 8 inches in NB over the last week. Doesn't sound too bad till you mix in building a house at the same time. Lol

We are getting dumped on in Portland. Dumped my rain gauge last night, and had 4.5” when I dumped it around noon. I now have over 2” in it again.

It doesn't look like much is going to happen with Isaac. It's diminished to 40 mph winds and the next 5 days doesn't appear conducive to further development due to windshear. The NWS and the SOC are giving me updates regularly. It may just be another wind and rain event for the coast.

Nothing to worry about, yet. That's a long way of, so the models may drop any idea of this storm in the future runs. Also, the models are currently showing that 'storm' heading north from there.
