I hit and rolled two hogs with #4 buck shot, then dusted the same 300lb boar three times in a row, I was using a 5 shot remington 1148. Pulled my pistol and First round made him stumble and the Second round out of my 1911 rolled him for good, 80 yards. He was still trying to crawl off when I got to him. Not my longest pistol kill but my best hitting a running hog twice.

Then there was the hog I hit right between the eyes at 30 yards, dropped him in his tracks. I had tied a hog snare to a fence post and he had the fence, posts and all, pulled 30yrds into the brush. Bullet ended up embedded in the spine, it had a crease in it where I first hit a strand of goat wire almost dead center. Better lucky than not.::

36 Yards, Ruger GP100, 6" barrel, .357 magnum. Open sights, hit the hog high in the back and had to follow up with one to the dome at 2 yards.

I have handgun hunted more than anything else. open sight was about 75 yards with my freedom Arms 454 on a whitetail. Shot a TC in 25-06 with optics and it was very accurate out to 200 yards. Have no idea how many critters or my actual longest shot but it stopped a lot of heartbeats. It was my goto pistol/rifle for years.

I used to shoot metallic silhouettes with different handguns. My Model 29 with the 8 3/8" barrel was what I used the most. Shooting pig silhouettes at 100 yards was pretty easy, turkey silhouettes at 150 a bit harder, all with open sights.

Farthest shot I made and killed was a hog on a sendero was just over 100 yards. The 240 grain bullet broke its spine.

All of the deer that I've shot with revolvers were under 100 yards usually between 30 and 60 yards.

Roughly 20 yards when it started. She was about 50 by round 13 and I'm not sure which one did the job.

It was a fire fight with the g19

I shot a javy one time from a long ways, I don't remember the exact yardage but it was something close to 100 yards. I was with J-Jac so I've got a witness

We were checking feeders and he walked out, I pulled my Glock 23 .40 cal off my hip and Justin said "dude don't do that, you don't have a prayer of hitting him". I aimed like 5 feet high free hand and hit him square in the head, neither of us could believe it lol.
