Something I don’t understand about ranches with multiple owners.

Hmm... Guess I was fortunate. Yes I work hard but pay is really good in my area. I basically manage 2 ranches. 1 full time 40-50 hrs a week and the other 10-15 hrs a week. Top it off with top of the line insurance benefits. Provided by the full time ranch.

Plant food plots, fill feeders, work cows, fix fence, pasture maintenance, crops, feed, tractor work, overseeing work done by contractors, etc, etc. Outside of the ranch is maintaining 50+ Duplexes.

Triple digits combined income. If you aren't afraid to work the income and great pay is out there!

If a ranch can’t operate without them then I’d say there isn’t any income without them.

That being said, the fair market of labor dictates the going rate.

Sorry. A ranchhand isn't a high paying high trained job.

Your not getting rich on cattle and you can't payout more than you bring in.

Hence the second part of my statement that you cut out of your quote. If a good ranch hand is willing to work for less they’ll get the job. If a ranch owner can’t or won’t pay what a good ranch hand needs they’ll be working the fields on their own. Thats the fair market.
