    If the smell is coming from the ears, it could possibly be ear mites. If not, it could also just be dirty ears and cotton balls and peroxide will take care of that problem in a jiffy. Just dip the cotton ball in the peroxide, be sure to squeeze all excess out of the cotton ball, then proceed to clean the ears as far down as you can. Make sure you don't squeeze any peroxide out into the ear canal while doing so because it can be uncomfortable for the pooch. This usually takes all smell out of their ears after cleaning them. I do this to my labs especially after being outside alot, swimming or even just on very hot days.
