2 hogs and a rattler!

Needed to break in the Triax before deer season. It was cool enough this morning to make us want to hunt. I was looking for an axis buck but i am not one to pass on hogs. The Krivo did its job as i smoked the big sow first and then got the little red boar when he came back. Stepped over a cactus patch right on top of the Rattler. Glad he didn’t bite me. Should have had my snake boots on.

That's a big black-tailed rattlesnake. I think longest on record was 49".

That looks like a black tailed rattler, not a timber
