Was raining from just after to midnight until 730 when I got to Ozona this morning. Was coming down hard in between Boerne and Kerrville. And suppose to keep coming down all day.
NW San Antonio, I think we’re well north of 10” now.

So far we have been blessed. We have gotten close to 5" spread out since last Sunday night around Junction. It has all soaked in and our draws have not ran much. Had a friend out on our place this morning just checking the water gaps and we're all good for now. Our small tank was bone dry a week ago and is now at capacity.
Our place was green from the rains we received in July too, so we did not see as much traffic at the feeders last weekend as we expected either. These rains are going to make early bow season interesting. We did not see a lot of acorns on the trees but there will be a lot of new forb growth. Great for the animals. Guess we won't be getting that final protein delivery though...
