Made it thru security with no issues. The Specialty Pistol has to be examined after the x-ray, but the guy doing it was cool and was gentle. I can’t say the same for the big lady with the cold fingers after I went thru x-ray, but I guess they gonna do what they gonna do! :-)
Now just hurry up and wait for the call to board.

Got to Oregon just after lunch. Retrieved luggage and gun (painless process) from baggage claim and grabbed a quick bite to eat with my good friends.
Mike and I got into our camo, threw my stuff in his truck, and headed to the range to confirm zero and once that was done we hit our clear cut he had picked out. The smoke from the forest fires was everywhere, but not a deal breaker so we sat until dark and did not see a bear the first evening.
This country is some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. God is good.
