Use a #6 Eagle Claw treble for live shrimp under the cork.

If your wife wants to lay out on the beach I would look into wade fishing the surf some. If the water is green and some what clear and the wind is not to bad this is a good time to catch trout in the surf in the 2nd cut. She could lay out while you fish.

Another suggestion is to take the jetty boat over to the north jetty and fish on the surf side. You can wade for trout and reds off the surf close to the jetties or fish for kings off the jetties farther out. I have caught some nice kings off the jetties there. You will need some wire and a big jerk bait (Rapala or Yo-zuri) or big spoon for the kings, but if you get into them you will have a blast. It will cost $12 for the round trip and you will need to take everything you need; ice chest, sun cover, lunch, drinks, etc. You can look it up on Google for times and price. She could lay out on the beach here too while you fish.

I have had alot of fun there, but I haven't ever been when there isn't a fight usually including the popo rolling in to break it up. I'm too **** old to get dragged into a bar fight.

So, I go someplace where it is more chill.

For Yakking in Port A, launching in Wilson's cut and fishing Shamrock is hard to beat.

Wilson's cut has been one that keeps coming up. The whole thing about my vehicle WILL get broke into is a little hard to get past. Thinking about just taking absolutely everything out of the Jeep and going topless and taking the doors off too so it will be very easy to see I HAVE NOTHING

Met a duck guide there a couple of years ago. Left an ice chest in the back of my truck and my shoes when I put my waders on. They stole both. Stupid me for being in a hurry and leaving them out.

Not the first victim from what I hear. I'm curious if it's the same handfull of people (THIEFS) that keep doing it or just a known spot to target for all the useless humans in the area

No doubt. I really like being able to sneak up on fish in the yaks!
