I’ve eaten tacos on streets that were more dangerous than the tacos.

        Yup.

Street tacos in Mexico are about 15 miles south of what we call street tacos in Houston...

WTH is a street taco? Taco truck, taco trailer or taco lady ( who brings tacos in cooler to your construction site )? Renamed by millennial's?

Haha it really is weird. They're just tacos. I think it's what people that have no idea and grew up thinking tacos were those disgusting crunchy things with ground beef in the middle call them.

Not sure where the term came from exactly, but to me, a taco is a taco.

My guess is the term street taco originated as being a taco served by a street vendor like a food truck or trailer. Kind of along of the lines of something like street corn. However, I've also heard people at Fuzzy's or Torcheys or whatever taco joint refer those as street tacos too. So I think the term is being used interchangeably by some that have never heard different.

It's a taco you buy on the street. Like street corn.
Ever been to Mexico? Small, soft corn tortillas, simple traditional ingredients.

They are actually taquitos or mini tacos. The term street taco came from taco carts on the street in mexico. Its like the fancy outside of south Texas name. Lol.

4 "street" tacos are two regular tacos. They just add 50 cents to the cost of each one for adding a prefix to the name taco

Eva's Taqueria, North Main in Ft Worth.....I get the asada burrito because it's like 7 of those baby tacos in one. The closer to 3AM the better.

                              With a Mexican Coke.
