Thought thats what it was, had to look a little harder after some of these water snake threads. Didn’t realize some look so similar to a moccasin that one’s head gives him away. Glad he didn’t get no one.

good snake, bad snake... who cares. I don't like snakes period. no I don't kill the obvious non-venomous ones like garter, racers, etc, but ive seen so many of pics of moccasins and other so-called "good snakes", that sometimes I can't tell the difference. so.....when in doubt....it dies and especially if its in my back yard or porch where a family member can be harmed. sorry to the snake lovers.
