July 4th fireworks - how much did you spend?

The closest I saw fireworks was probably 4+ miles away. Too **** dry to be popping big fireworks around here.

I did find the remnants of some fireworks in my front yard though. I’m assuming my neighbors were popping them off one evening when I wasn’t home.

I was in NM - Spent $400 total.

They even had a pyro pack for each of the kids !

Got lucky and caught 2 shows this year by complete accident! Went to Tele's in Van last Sat night and saw Gusher Day's going on so stopped on the way home for the kids to play on the bounce houses and get snowcones and caught their show that night then Paradise Point had their show this Sat night at Fork and watched that one from the camp across the cove! I bought the kids a big box of poppers at Sams. Think I spent $8 or so?

I bet the fireworks sales were at an all time low.

All depends on where you where located. Some bans, some with plenty of rain so sales were up and down in TX and NM.

Worst was in 2011 when the entire state was in a massive drought and sales were pretty much shut down statewide! Not a good year for the fireworks industry.

I still have teenagers at my house so yes..... I spent $100 this year. last year it was $220 so i am feeling good. !
