One thing I’ve learned.. keeping shrimp alive is a chore..

The weather changed and water turned real green. Gonna try this evening for some trout with some newly purchased popping corks.. lol

Am I good for the little blacktips with braid line?

You need wire leader. They will cut that braid quick.

And make sure to "pop" the cork. Cast it and jerk it to make it splash/pop. What are you trying to keep them alive in? Heat is what gets them most of the time.

              Are you using an aerator?

Get one of these immediately! Put it in/on your bait bucket to keep shrimp alive.

A frozen water bottle or two will also keep those water temps down so them shrimps live longer.

So, caught several more catfish and 1 mallot. Gonna use the mallot for bait later.

Gonna wreck my face with spaghetti and call it a night. Gonna rig my trout rod up for the morning and grab some live shrimp with aerator and frozen water bottle in the morning. Also going to snag some live mallot.. didn’t have any more luck than just the one.. give another shot at shark..
