    good conversation, i would use t-post, using the tree method they can dig out, i would prefer the 4 x 4 panels, pricing varies from store to store, they can not tear up as easily. check you panel strength by steping on it on unlevel surface, it will break if an area is not welded to the proper specs.

      Your not offending me. I do not know much on this topic which is why I was asking for opinions.

      It's very useful information given so far. I just figured they would be OK in the shade with water but now I at least have second thoughts. I will stick with the wired open trap of some kind then set it only when I'm there.

      I heard those panels were $25 for a 16' section. Is that not right?

        25 bucks for the 6 x 6 panels. Any pig under 50 or so pounds can and will get out.

          And generally they are not as tall as the 4x4 panels. Its well worth the extra money if you really want to slow down the hogs
