2018 saltwater fishing thread

Sure hope that little "spin-up" down in the Caribbean don't come up here and mess up my Chandeleur trip next week!! some of the models have east winds in the 30's by Monday (our first day of fishing)... Fishable, but pretty much wipes out any chance of fishing "outside" and likely will stir up a LOT of grass on the flats...

Beautiful day on the water, caught around 25 fish this morning only 4 keepers. One big girl that went 25. Only 3 reds all undersized...

Went to west. Lots of fish most small, tons of trout 13 to 15 inches...very few reds which is surprising.

We didn't keep anything that wouldn't have been legal in Texas... My biggest was 27 1/2" and we had many over 20"... so yea, go ahead and drool... You had your chance... I'm jus' sayin'...
