What is the difference between Weber Spirit and Genesis?

I believe the Genesis is the flagship model. We have had a 2 burner Spirit for 8 years. It’s been parked next to a pool and never had a cover on it. It’s is still going strong.

We got 10 years out of our first Weber (Spirit Series) and it was still going strong when I gave it to a buddy who helped me move, we upgraded to a Genesis model two years ago and it's been a winner as well. I haven't tried any other comparable brands, but Weber hasn't given me a reason to look elsewhere.

Another vote for the Weber Genesis. Mine is the Stainless Steel model with side stations. Best grill I have ever owned.
