Why would anyone consider Mexico a good to place to go?
They treat USA like crap, and the whole country is run by thugs.

My wife and I used to do cozumel once a year. Those drug cartels have altered our perception of the place.

Next week we fly into fort lauderdale (250 bucks each), rent a car (150 bucks), and drive down the keys stopping in islamorada for a day to fish, and then key west. And i think the price will end up being much cheaper than an all inclusive to cozumel/cancun. This will be our first time to the keys so looking forward to it!

All the time multiple times per year we take trips. Love exploring Texas tons of stuff to do right here.

We like to mix it up about every 5 years and see other stuff as well. It’s a huge world and love to see all of God’s creation!

Take a cruise out of Galveston. Get 2 adjoining rooms though.

Me!!!!!! going to a B&B between Comfort and Fredericksburg for the wife and I's 45th anniversary trip at the end of May. Maybe out of country (probably Africa for a safari) in 2019! Lots to see in this country!

you will enjoy key west. go check out franks magic bar at the schooner wharf bar. he is awesome. you drink and watch magic and buy him drinks and tip him.

Go to Walmart! You can have your taxes done there, keep your cash in their bank, get your eyes checked, you want 2020 vision when you and the mrs watch the "people of Walmart." The kids can get toys, watch tv, play video games, ride bikes and skateboards down the isles. Here is a place to eat and drink when you get hungry. What more could you need?

Just got back from ten days in AZ. Three in Sedona, seven in Surprise. To the OP, I apologize for being no help on your original inquiry. But, I think you and I are alike in one regard, because I also took twelve years to duplicate the magic.
