That is beyond awesome. I have no desire to shoot bobcats, but would have to think really hard about that one. That may be the coolest thing i've ever seen in regards to Texas wildlife.

X2. Dr. Baccus is well respected in university wildlife circles. He did a lot of his research on melanistic deer in the Hill country, So he is very well versed on color phases. I don’t know when he left SWT, but is now at Texas Tech. Hope they were able to study the DNA.
