Put an end to robo calls

Since I retired, I stay home a lot. The number of robo calls I get each day is maddening.

I found a free service that blocks robo calls, based on its database of known robo call numbers. You can even add numbers to the database.

I signed up three days ago, and the stream of robo calls has nearly been stopped.

There are several services/tools to do this, but I used this one. I am not associated with the company.

    nomorobo.com

It took about 10 minutes to set up.

Worth $20.00 a year if it works.
I bet I get 6 or 7 calls every day.
I am giving it a try

                Here how I handle them.

                Ring
                Ring

                I don't recognize number.
                Decline the call.

My VM says if you DO NOT leave a message and number YOU WILL BE BLOCKED!

They don't leave a VM I add to my blocked list.

If they do I'll check it an call them back

The companies that spam/robo call purchase contact information from companies that people sign up for.
                    Just food for thought.

Never click the unsubscribe in your email either.

Manual blocks are available on all carriers and most email services.

Why not? I do it here and there and havent seen any adverse affects from doing it.

Been with them for about 7 months and it works better than nothing. AT&T will not block calls with my prefix (281) 999-????! The 281-999 part will still get through from At&t!

No caller id is another one that will get through.

I will continue to pay but i still get 3 or 4 a day that get through.

Unsubscribe verifies the email that was sent to is an actual address - the people that harvest email addresses for the spammer/phishing/virus/malicious campaigns use this method to maintain valid email harvest lists they then sell to others.

But if you cancel the service, they give your number to Jackie Bushman.
