Nitrile. Just because I don't like my fingers smelling like guts for two days.

Nitrile when I have them. The process doesn’t bother me but the fat is a PITA to get off and gloves make that nice

        Latex to keep hands clean.
One pair for skinning hogs, second for butchering

I am too but the allergy just seems to have developed in the past 6-7 years..pretty weird! I also like the easy cleanup afterward with them but sometimes I forget and just have to deal with allergies and blood under the fingernails.

I do. But you have to realize. I don't have to gut and clean my deer on the side of the road by the light of a q-beam hoping the possum cop doesn't catch me. I clean mine during legal hunting hours in broad daylight where fashion is important.

I probably wouldnt gut anymore either if i processed myself all the time, but if you take to a deer processor, they usually want them gutted. i just wondered if everyone wore the shoulder length type gloves to cover up your entire arm or just the plain surgical gloves. or both. if you dont bust the chest cavity, you gotta reach way up there and entire arm has potential to get bloody. just wondered what everyone did.

I don't use a q-beam...headlights on the truck give plenty of light!

Smart man. Q-beams get you caught.

Long gloves here. You can buy a big pack of them for under 5 bucks. Strictly for easy clean up.
