i am wondering now if you shoot a deer in the evening hunt let him lay til dark and go find him after dark and he is still alive can you finish him off with your bow or gun. During archery season you probably can't use your gun or probably can't shoot him at all. i am thinking a lot of people on the g s have finished a deer off after dark or a pistol during archery season. About 271 he guy made a mistake he's paying the dues now he and everyone else needs to move on. Sorry for the mom and family for the loss of their son in the electrical accident.

For anyone saying "He made a mistake" that is not the right term to characterize what he did. This was well thought out and premeditated. You don't sit in a blind/stand at night and shoot a deer night and say, "oh whoops!"

I think the only "mistake" he made was blabbing about his poaching on social media.

I cannot see any defense for what he did. He broke too many laws to just call it a "mistake."

What statement will TRIGGER the Mods to delete this one as well. I'd love an answer as to why they remove these threads. Is it because he was the face of TBH and had a TBH logo jacket on and they don't like the negative publicity. I read a lot of posts and people bet the farm on his innocence. Well he's not innocent and he admitted it. out.I even recall the credibility of this site was bet on his innocence. out.It's not much of a public forum if post are removed because they don't fit y'alls agenda. Careful who you go to bat for until the facts come out.

You either misinterpreted what was said, or chose to intentionally misrepresent my statement.

Let me put it this way...

I don't know Travis' side of the story and I haven't talked to him, but I'd stake my reputation, and that of this site, on it being the truth.

I was intentionally careful to not proclaim his innocence nor defend his actions, if proven true. I don't condone what Travis did - in fact I'm greatly disappointed - but I know Travis will own up to his mistake, accept the consequences and, with help of his Christian brothers, come out a better man. Scoff if you will.

As for deleting threads, we do the same with any topic that gets multiple, repetitive new posts.

The rest of your nonsense isn't worth a response.
