We used Window World. They have a double life time warranty, and have been great threw the recent cold weather. My son also used them and has been very happy with the results.

When we built our house the time to pay back the cost of the "high-end" windows versus the lower end was 86 yrs.......no thanks.

This is true, but I can spend five minutes at a house with my FLIR cam and they'll probably be pulling out their wallet.

Cheap windows really suck. Almost as much as window salesmen....

And it's hard to put a price on the improved sound insulation you will gain with new windows.

We had Anderson come out a couple months ago and the quote for our house was $32k! They had a great pitch and everything but there is no way. I don't plan on living here for more than another 7 years. If we do replace I'm looking at window world or a family owned place.

I keep trying to research how hard the installation would be to do it on my own
