Taos has 16" in the past week. Expected to add a half dozen more over the next 24 hours. Apache is trying to open more but the 40-60mph winds are slowing that.

Good whiteout powder day at Taos yesterday. Supposed to be more trails open by the weekend.

We were in red river last month. Looks like they have double the runs open than they did when we were there. Trying to convince the wife we need to make one more trip. How are the crowds at red river? Looked up angel fire and they only have 12 runs open. Terrible this year.

                  Angel fire stinks
                  Red river is pretty good.
Just over the Colorado state line north of Red River and Angelfire
                  is Wolf Creek

Outstanding runs and tons of snow
and one of the best kids ski schools

I've always wanted to hit wolf creek. What I've seen there isn't any lodging that close to the mountain. What's the closest place you can get to stay to ski there?

I respectfully disagree. Angel Fire doesn't hold a candle to either Red River or Taos unless one enjoys skiing the most mind-numbingly boring runs.

Had to cancel my long weekend in AF last weekend due to no snow. All of my favorite trails were closed. Went to the beach instead

Still snowing. Red River should be good today.

Just checked the red river cams. 8 inches still last night and still coming down. Looks awesome.

My kids love skiing Red River. Wonder if this guy has dropped yet?????

We go Christmas time, but not much real snow on the ground at Christmas this last trip.

Sure wished we were there now.
