I think that when measuring quality (this goes for most things), you can't really speak to it until you've had it in operation for a long time. I mean, you can clearly say it's garbage if right out of the gates it doesn't do what it's supposed to, but almost everything works well for at least a short while.
But until it's been doing its thing with a whole bunch of use for an extended duration, you don't know if it's quality or not.
