[QUOTE=wacm;13111345]If I invite an inexperienced hunter to my lease I would almost hope he don’t bring a gun. I’ll provide him a gun, I’ll carry the rifle and I’ll know the rifle is sighted in. Seems easier to me. Instead of complaining or not goin on the hunt, maybe take the time to teach them the right way. As a hunter I’ve always enjoyed getting somebody started.[/

I’d like to believe that no one in our club would bring guests that aren’t experienced hunters unless it’s kids in training.
First clue would be not owning a rifle or bow.
    Not safe in my opinion.

Either way it doesn’t bother you that much since you loaned one of them your gun....

This was Four other guys, not me. I’m not on nor do I hunt the lease referred to. My friend loaned his extra gun. He wasn’t very happy about the deal.
And to boot, had they taken any game, I wonder if they would have transported it on top of the smart car [emoji594]![emoji15]

I'm with you on this. I don't agree with the plus-one inviting but at least the guys are interested in the outdoors.

The plus one inviting, the no cooler, which means no food, no drinks, no deer meat transport home. Just sounds like some trigger pulling mooches without their own triggers.

For sure. Feels like a good time to quote the great John Wayne..

I've never heard of a guest being allowed to invite anyone ... What kinda sense does that make ?
