I have a friend that shares a lease with a friend of his. Last year his friend had a guest that came to hunt with no gun, no cooler, driving a smart car. This year, that guest asked if he could bring along a buddy of his. They showed up in the same smart car, no weapons,no cooler, no nothing(anything)[emoji23][emoji23]. The guest's buddy borrowed one of my friends rifles.
That's a hunt I would not be participating in, I'm staying at the camp!!

Probably no hunting license either.

Wait a minute... at first you had a friend that shared a lease with a friend of his. This year you’re loaning guns to these city slickers and staying at camp. So either you didn’t tell the whole truth about last year or you decided to get on the lease this year so you wouldn’t miss out on the fun. Either way it doesn’t bother you that much since you loaned one of them your gun....

If I invite an inexperienced hunter to my lease I would almost hope he don’t bring a gun. I’ll provide him a gun, I’ll carry the rifle and I’ll know the rifle is sighted in. Seems easier to me. Instead of complaining or not goin on the hunt, maybe take the time to teach them the right way. As a hunter I’ve always enjoyed getting somebody started.
