That's a hunt I would not be participating in, I'm staying at the camp!!
      Probably no hunting license either.

I hope the coliche and prickly pear didn't cut their tootsies up too much walking the lease in sandals.

Some men you just can't reach. So, you get what we got here.

Tell them it's a scheduled work day at the lease any hunting takes place only after ALL the work is done.

then point them to the kitchen.

Maybe, just maybe, the guy introduced a couple of new folks to hunting

I would never invite or even ask someone to go to a place I had been invited to

                    It happens a lot

Wait a minute... at first you had a friend that shared a lease with a friend of his. This year you’re loaning guns to these city slickers and staying at camp. So either you didn’t tell the whole truth about last year or you decided to get on the lease this year so you wouldn’t miss out on the fun. Either way it doesn’t bother you that much since you loaned one of them your gun....

If I invite an inexperienced hunter to my lease I would almost hope he don’t bring a gun. I’ll provide him a gun, I’ll carry the rifle and I’ll know the rifle is sighted in. Seems easier to me. Instead of complaining or not goin on the hunt, maybe take the time to teach them the right way. As a hunter I’ve always enjoyed getting somebody started.
