Not to mention the $#/+ storm that will follow when the insurance company finds out it was a bullet hole... errr.... uhhh.... shooting. Will the police be involved? Glad I ain’t gotta deal with it. Good luck!

He pays whatever it cost to fix it or his insurance

Hope he doesn’t end up backing out on paying

I’d leave it for bragging rights. And make up a better story about how it happened.

As others have stated, don't do it on your insurance. He pays cash or he claims it on his insurance.

If you go through your insurance, it WILL affect your rates.

It would likely be a non rate affecting comprehensive claim on your auto insurance, but why??

Leave your insurance out of it. He is the one that screwed up.

Exact same question the shooter started asking himself when he concluded to just pay the deductible lol

Also make sure you add your story here :

I’d like to hear how he shot your truck. Why was he in camp with a loaded gun?

His insurance most likely won’t pay. So he figures it would be cheaper for him if you claim it and he pays the deductible

Leave it and just tell everyone you bought the truck from Webstertroy.

First I'd address the 'accident' - loaded guns in camp is just stupidity waiting for a place to put a hole in someone/something.
Then I'd tell him to break out a check book..because its not going through my insurance.
Then we'd discuss his ability to stay on the lease.
