What was really enlightening to me like mentioned in the video above is how far they can hear the dang phone speaker. It really puts a new perspective on being still in the stand and not crinkling a water bottle and such.
Any subtle sound you make, they can hear for over 100 yards with ease.
I tested the sound extensively on other systems and called hogs. When I tested convergents speaker the difference was incredible and while I did call hogs with other systems my success went up ten fold with the Bullet HP. What I discovered in testing was I never called in a hog with "Hey Baby" a boar specific sound. Once I made the switch it was boar after boar!
I recently hunted with a nuclear engineer that used a high end bluetooth system with some success, enough that he wouldn't make the change. Then when he heard several of the sounds on the bullet he wanted to argue that they weren't the same sound. I connected his phone to the system and now he's a believer 5 successful stand in a row.
Other than Convergents Bullet HP and their new Sidewinder, the only systems I've heard play the sounds realistically are some car stereo systems.

When you hook up a Bose it can get Jurassic Park in a hurry.
The HP looks like a good setup for sure.
Because of the app success I’ve actually changed the way I cough, sneeze, or snot. I let it out as aggressively as possible and add a growl to it or I do it into a mouth call.
I had a dang coughing spell into my rabbit call and **** if I didn’t get a coyote.Last edited by Johnny44; 04-20-2019, 11:02 AM.

I often forget to turn off my notifications on my phone and I get all kinds of strange sounds on the Call, hogs still come in. They don't have the ability to reason, that it's not a bird or natural sound.
I've experimented extensively with odd or invasive sounds. The most alarming sound to a hog is a whisper. Talking in a low normal voice doesn't bother them 99% of the time. 2nd most alarming is a clank, creek or bang on a box blind. Hogs at feeders are on the highest alert even though they don't seem to be.
A feeder is a buffet to all predators seeking easy meals, this is why I don't usually call close to an active feeder.

I'll bring this back up. There was a nice article in Lonestar Outdoor News about hog calling.
Are you all calling mostly dawn and dusk? After dark? The article talked about calling mid-day and I admit to having a hard time with the notion of successfully calling in pigs during the heat of the day.

Mr @Guess I have a question.
Backstory:
I have old ears, I'm almost 49 :-), I have the sound profile set on my Samsung Galaxy set to my age group. Don't know the specifics of the setting (s).
Some phones have an equalizer for playing music.
Since the Bullet HP is a Bluetooth speaker if I have a custom sound profile saved in my phone does/will that adversely effect the way you're sounds are played back?

I downloaded the free version of Hog Pro Sunday just to try because me and the kiddo were bored, I have a tube speaker that has some good base and highs. We set up on the edge of a tank with a good, thick and brushy creek running into it. Not 2 minutes into the call I shot this boar at 15 yards, and let me tell you he was mad when he came in to the boar fight sound. He was foaming at the mouth and popping his teeth like I have never seen.

That is AWESOME!!
I have a bluetooth Boom Speaker that I primarily use for playing music from my phone, but I got it so I could use Glenn's hog calling sounds. I have the app on my phone, but haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. Love the handgun hoggin'!!
