My ears are playing tricks on me. I keep thinking I hear corn crunching, but nada here. Probably gonna try to hang my feeder light on something down here this weekend. They've been regular the past 3 nights before 10. Giving them about 30 more minutes before I call it.

This guy has been coming in twice a night for a while now. I thought that patch was mud the first couple times I saw it. It hasn't gone away, so I guess it's a bare spot from him scratching.

I'm also wondering if that might be the one I shot high a couple months ago. Maybe he licked that spot while it was healing. Gonna try to ground check him and find out. Didn't think I hit him that high though.

Shot at one last night but a vane came off mid flight and I missed.
Out after them again this evening.
Feeder went off at 645.
