I think these pigs got smart to my hunting in the evenings and now only come out late or in the morning. May have to try a morning hunt.

Last night was perfect. Wind direction/speed, moon, and I think the planets aligned. Had to be at work at 4 this morning, so I didn't go. Wind is way less than perfect tonight, but I'm gonna give it hell until I fall asleep or have enough!

Raccoon here. I brought the .22 rifle for coons and armadillos, but it's too early to start that kind of shooting. Got a boar that seems to eat with the coons. Hopefully he'll show up.

Coon came back and the .22 ate! That makes #24 on my little 11 acres, with another 3 missing a foot. No pigs, but blood was shed.
