Target hunts for 2018?

Will hunt ducks for the first time this year, going to hopefully get drawn for teniente NWR again and hopefully get revenge on the nilgai this year.

My son and I leaving for Idaho elk Sept 7th. Gonna hunt for 7-10 days then swing down through Colorado and try to close out the season. Both are backpack hunts

Looking at a blackbuck hunt for a happy divorce present to myself! I got a buddy with 22”-26” bucks

And hopefully get out to New Mexico for pronghorn.

I can relate when given the choice, it's hard to pass up the idea of connecting on a big buck.

I have Alaska Dall Sheep hunt in Aug 18. Extremely excited about that one as its a once in a lifetime for me I think.

Got to figure out what I'm going to do for tags here in NM. Have to figure in 5 days of vacation for a trip to Aggieland in Sept for the Clemson/A&M game and fishing trip, so I'll be slim on days off after that. I only get 10 days vacation, and I'm required to take 5 consecutive once a year. Kind of ruins any NM hunts for me.

Axis doe hunt
Predator varmint contests
Hog hunts
Duck hunts
Turkey
Frogs with bows or pellet guns, yeah no joke, we have a ton of em

Oh and looking at a deer hunt at First Point

Ill definitely try. Last time on my bear hunt I lost service on the place ride in and never got any back. This trip Im planning on a SAT phone to at least check in with my wife and probably let someone here know whats going on to update for me. Thats for those who don't mind a rifle hunt anyway

I shot a NM pronghorn in 2017. My second daughter is being born in February so won’t be able to do a big trip probably. I want to shoot an axis doe with my bow!
