We got a lab pup that would go grab a piece of wood off the pile I had cut for our fireplace. He'd bring it to the back porch and just chew it to splinters. Dang dog went through a good half cord of decent firewood before he got tired of it. Then he decided to chew the wires off of my boat trailer. Not cool.

Yep my labs used to chew boards to splinters as well. Jalapeño juice worked when it came to furniture

I take a fresh habanero, cut it open and rub down the object I don't want chewed. Pretty effective.

Cayenne pepper does wonders keeping pets out of areas you don't want them.

Sour apple spray did not work with my Golden. Ended up slicing jalapenos in half and wiping them all over a door frame he was chewing.

Then the dog proceeded to completely chew up a sago palm. Lucky he didn't die from that toxic plant.

The only real solution to that problem is this: If you don't want a puppy to chew on something, don't allow them to have access to it.

                    Something hot.
Give her an antler to chew on.

i always used habanero sauce. just wipe some on what he has been chewing on and what you don't want him chewing on. Only takes once or twice and he will stop.

also make sure to have some chew toys or things he likes to chew on around

                        A little more info:
She does it while we're gone to work
She has at least 7 toys to chew on
She keeps taking wood from the wood stack and chews on it as well

A shock collar works pretty well. You have to catch them in the act though. Our puppy loved to chase our chickens. Not to eat. To play with. Now he thinks they have magical powers that cause him pain when he gets near them.
