Covert app question

How are you powering the camera? Just standard batteries inside, solar panel, etc? You will get a few weeks on regular batteries but there are some maintenance free options out there for solar panels and rechargeable batteries. Mine ran for about 18 months before I had to replace the batteries.

You still running the Covert solar panel? Or homemade route?

I am doing the homemade route with no issues. For some reason every now and again my 12v battery will go bad!! Not sure why. Or that crappy 6v-12v covert cord my crap out

Right now just 12 energizers for playing and learning. When I put it in the field it will have eneloops and the covert solar panel

I took mine off real time. I tried to get it to take a pic on command and it never would and taking it off of real time really helped battery life.

Mine will not take a pic if I tell it to either. I asked Covert about that and they said that the tower closest to the camera is the problem, not the camera or the app.
