I think they've moved on. Offered Keys.

If you get a difference maker at QB you will have a shot.

Texas has missed / bad luck with QBs since 2009. They finally have some QB depth and have their 2019 QB on board too.

Have ya'll seen Bobby Brown play? What are ya'lls thoughts?

I was not impressed personally. Big enough kid, but just didn't seem to be that great for whatever reason. Seemed like he took plays off and didn't finish them a lot of times. Definitely has tools though. Just curious if anyone else had seen him....

I thought y’all said OL was the issue?

                These are the EE's:

                S BJ Foster
                CB Anthony Cook
                S Caden Sterns
                WR Brennan Eagles
                LB Ayodele Adeoye
                QB Cam Rising
                QB Casey Thompson
                OT Mikey Grandy

Good to see the QB room will finally be full again.

Even with poor OL play, the freshman QB regrettably gave away three games. He is/was a freshman though...

Heath has a point, the QB room hasn't had much to work with until this past season and it just got much-much deeper!

I have read he has bad attitude issues too but with the lack of talent in the state at that position he’s a take for any school. I think he figured out Terry Price isn’t going to be retained and he bolted.

I hope Colburn sticks with Texas.

I'm certainly not rooting against the kid, hopefully it clicks wherever he ends up.

It's hard to develop a young QB behind a bad OL, but an average QB can look good behind a good OL. On the flipside a good QB will struggle to make an bad OL look good.

                          No question.

I was referencing Clemson and how great QB play can make a 9-15 type recruiting class into one of the best teams in the country.

There's a little more to it, lack of attrition and kids having time to develop has been instrumental in his build. For example, this class will be small, but it will be one of his best player average hauls.

No doubt, putting a great QB behind a good OL and you win championships. Which is what you were referencing and I agree with. QB recruiting is the cherry on top. If you do everything else well and hit on a great QB you can win it all. If you do everything well but only have average QB play you will have to be significantly better than everyone else to make it out of the pack.

Teams that signed two top-25 QBs:

Washington (No. 9 and No. 10)[emoji102]
Texas (No. 18 and No. 22)
