Led light bars are illegal to run while boat is in motion.

Just get a bunch of pods? lol I have one that my brother modified with an HID kit. Pretty freakn bright.

I think led bars should be illegal on the water as anyone approaching from your front has to totally shut down and let you pass. Cant see a darn thing. . Happens to me.at least once a week with light bars coming out of Bluff Landing.

I use to run a led light bar on my boat and was told by a GW that technically they are illegal due to the fact that you can not see the red/green nav lights on the front. By law, those must be able to be clearly seen.

Cyclops seeker is the best I’ve found. Bright as day, small, light weight and has an easy on/off switch.

The clyclops handheld lights are nice. A good size, weight, plenty bright, and very reasonable at about $40. They can usually be found at Wal-Mart or Academy.

I have had one of mine for at least 8 years.

Eyes show up way better with halogen. These are what we use for frogs.

Yeah ive heard variations on this and i call bs... if installed correctly they CAN be clearly seen. From front, and a TON easier to see from sides. No reason at all not to let them replace nav light... they so the same job but better when installed right. They arnt bright enough to blind or anything.

But most guys i know with them run both leds and trad front lights just in case

These are cheap and good! Light weight and they have a 10 foot straight cord. Minimal halo too.

Academy in Longview usually has the cyclops with red lease. I got mine in Shreveport at BPS.
