    Spotlights...GO

I need a spotlight asap. using for nighttime navigation on the boat. what do you guys recommend? Links are appreciated

If you must have a "spotlight" its hard to beat a Go Light with a remote.

But if you dont need a spot light and want the best lighting. a 30" curved double stack light bar will get you taken care of. Low amp draw as well. For the boat, any brand on amazon will do just fine.

I have a Lightforce marine version that is very bright. Only downside is the size. I have a 240mm reflector on mine. You can get them smaller though.

Stanley handheld from Walmart is good for what you are wanting. Uses D or C batteries and is bright!

I think led bars should be illegal on the water as anyone approaching from your front has to totally shut down and let you pass. Cant see a darn thing. . Happens to me.at least once a week with light bars coming out of Bluff Landing.

Dewalt makes a 20v spotlight. The light is very bright and has a 500+ yard throw.

Been there done that, thankfully we never really have that issue on the lakes I hunt. Everyone leaves the same boat launch and head towards the same direction so no one gets blinded but most people if were passing them, theyll shut the light bar off.

I'll agree with this. It's worse than being hit with high beams on the highway.

Led light bars are illegal to run while boat is in motion.

The clyclops handheld lights are nice. A good size, weight, plenty bright, and very reasonable at about $40. They can usually be found at Wal-Mart or Academy.

It's hard to beat just a regular old 12Volt Q-Beam. No batteries to worry about recharging and light in your hand.
I am also against running with light bars. They are great for setting up your spread but just too dangerous for others when you run with them.
